CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & CALENDAR BELOW
Our classes are specifically designed to allow performers to work on their craft as an ensemble, but with one on one attention.
Classes are either billed on a 4 wk cycle or per semester. (12-13 wks)
We have 4 different Levels:
Broadway Babies: ages 5-7 (offered in spring and summer)
Budding Performer: Grades 1st -3rd
Future Stars: Grades 4th - 7th
Next Level: Grades 7th & up
Levels are just a guide. If we feel the student would advance more quickly or benefit from a a different level, we will suggest that. Skill level is as important as Age.

Budding Performers Leap Day Musical
This course is a FULL MUSICAL PRODUCTION specifically designed for our 1-3 grade students.Students will leave this course with tools such as the proper way to mark up a script, how to notate stage directions, basic character development tools, body awareness on stage, work ethic, theatre etiquette, basic choreography and ensemble and solo singing.
Every Leap Day, the Days of the Week have a day off and celebrate with a huge party at the House of Father Time. However, this Leap Day, nothing goes as planned. The Days feel overworked, demanding an 8th day be added to the week. Tuesday and Friday’s friendship is not what it used to be. And Mother Nature makes a surprising appearance which puts everyone on edge!
This MUSICAL is perfect for a beginner performer AND children with performance experience, as we custom tailor our curriculum to ensure the educational needs of each student are met and challenged!
1-3rd grade - All are accepted. Auditions for roles will be conducted on the first day. Allowing teachers to walk students through the process of how to audition.

Acting for the Stage LV1
Whether you’re Just getting started with theater and film, or you’re ready to take the next step, this course will cover all of the acting basics you should know that will make you stand out in an audition or rehearsal process.
Topics Covered: Reading in public, Characterizations, Voice Projection, Stage Directions, Emotions, and Stage Presence
Approx. age 7-11 Placement recommended but not required

The Most Epic Birthday Party 4-6th
Skyler is about to turn 12, and she’s planned the biggest celebration of the year. But in the middle of the party, something mysterious happens – all the adults suddenly vanish! Trapped in the backyard, the kids realize they must create a brand new society. However when they elect Skyler’s older brother, Charlie, as their ruler, things really begin to spin out of control. Eventually the kids learn a big lesson in responsibility, while Skyler and Charlie develop a greater respect for one another.
This course is a FULL MUSICAL PRODUCTION perfect for a beginner performer AND student with performance experience, as each character is tailored to the individual performers talents. At this level, skills for the stage are taught at a slightly faster rate and will focus on the 10 elements of theatre: Role and Character, Relationships to others,Situation, "your why", Reactions, Voice and Movement, focus, spatial awareness, etc.
4th - 6th Grade

Breaking it Down: Scenes, Sides, & Scripts
Most actors pretend and indicate. They do not listen; they wait for their cue’s, ready to “act” their line readings. This class focuses on looking at different works allowing the student to learn how to develop a truthful acting instrument rooted in fundamentals.
In this class, the student will learn how to react truthfully, how to approach a script, how to interpret what is being portrayed, & how to list to your intuition on the stage.
Feedback is given and scenes are filmed.

Budding performers Musical Theatre Movers
Musical Theatre requires Dance. Students at a young age learn quicker when movement is involved. This class will introduce foundational dance technique and choreography. Beyond learning the importance of controlling your movements, this class will encourage confidence, stage personality and coordination.

Sides & Swing!
How to be an understudy? How do you learn multiple roles quickly with technique and all characters developed? In this class, learn varying levels of Broadway Numbers encompassing scenes and movement. An emphasis is placed on learning multiple roles and different movement tracks. Great for all levels!

Stage Dance Technique
Do you feel out of control when you dance?

This technique class features routines that focus on, strength and alignment for the performers body, and various combinations that will advance your technique and allow you to recognize terms required in auditions.
